Born in Norwich. Graduated from London University as a qualified teacher of Home Economics and Dressmaking up to A level. Have taught in UK, Switzerland, the Middle and Far East and have been an examiner in these countries for UK Boards. Since returning to Bury St. Edmunds I have been a Governor at KEGS (25 Years), volunteered at the West Suffolk Hospital Shop (30 Years) and been a member of the Council of Governors of the West Suffolk Hospital Trust (9 years)
